SQUARE Brussels

The SQUARE Brussels Meeting Centre will host the EABCT 2026 Congress from 16–19 September 2026. This modern and inspiring venue, fully refurbished in 2009, has the capacity to accommodate over 6,000 participants. It beautifully merges historic touches — including original frescos by artists such as René Magritte and Paul Delvaux, with cutting‑edge technological infrastructure.

Located in Brussels’ cultural and historical core, next to the European institutions, the SQUARE is extremely accessible, positioned above the city’s international train station and only 17 minutes from the airport.

Accessibility

Though SQUARE is a large meeting and convention centre, we have invested significant effort in ensuring all rooms are accessible to everyone. Wherever you need to go inside SQUARE, we will guide the way.

Here are four accessible entrances for visitors using mobility assistance:

  • Coudenberg
  • SQUARE Terrace
  • Rue Ravenstein
  • Rue des Sols – access via Parking –3

If you wish to use the Terrace elevator, please ring the bell and indicate you are attending the conference. To exit the building via elevator, notify the security staff so they can grant access.
