I am a board member of the Flemish Association for Behavioral Therapy (VVGT) and am actively involved in the organizing committee for EABCT2026. Within the committee, I contribute to the different taskforces, but my focus is on “sponsoring & exhibition,” “budget,” and “hybrid programming”. I also assist with the “promotion/communication” and “social program” working groups.

I am an accredited CBT psychotherapist and a Doctor in Psychology. I work both as a clinician and as a researcher at the University of Liège. I am also a board member of the AEMTC. Within the committee, I contribute to the Promotion & Communication taskforce as well as to the Volunteers and Assessors Recruitment working group.
Pierre Philippot

Pierre Philippot is professor of clinical psychology at the University of Louvain where he is particularly invested in the psychotherapist training program. He cultivates a particular research and clinical interest in emotion and he is a CBT practitioner with adults and adolescents. He is presenty EABCT Treasurer.
Bénédicte Thonon
