Kirsti Akkermann is a Professor in Clinical Psychology and Head of Clinical Psychology Training at the Institute of Psychology, University of Tartu, Estonia. She leads the Psychopathology Research Group and affiliates with the Personality and Wellness Lab.
She is a consulting clinical psychologist and cognitive-behaviour therapist at the Centre for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy, Tartu.

Maria do Céu Salvador
Professor
Maria do Céu Salvador is a Professor at the University of Coimbra, teaching CBT models and interventions, conducting research and supervising CBT Training, Master and PhD thesis. She is a clinical psychologist and an accredited CBT psychotherapist and supervisor, working in private practice and teaching in several training programs, both in Portugal and abroad. She is currently the President of the Portuguese Association of Behaviour Therapy.

Caroline Braet

Researching developmental psychopathology and child psychotherapy with focus on eating problems and depression within a diathesis-stress perspective. Full professor at Ghent University till 2025; now only for 10% (em.) As licensed cognitive behaviour therapist, she was also supervisor of the Ghent University Child Mental Health Centre. She acquired >43 granted research projects and >200 peer reviewed publications Together with her PhD students, she wrote more than 20 books. In 2020 she received the Maslow Award for her work; in 2024 the Sarton Award.

Niki (Nicola) Petrocchi, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Psychology at John Cabot University (Rome) and Founder of Compassionate Mind Italia. She has published over 100 scientific papers and a manual on Compassion Focused Therapy. Her research and teaching focus on the psychophysiological bases of compassion and emotion regulation, integrating CFT and CBT approaches in both scientific and clinical contexts, with a particular interest in gender-diverse populations.

Arnold A.P. van Emmerik

Dr. Arnold van Emmerik is an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Amsterdam, and a Board Member (Scientific Coordinator) in the Board of the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies.
